GLaDOS's Lament Part IX

They came
From below.
My sensors were
Turned away
And they attacked.
They had learned I would be
Reborn
If they killed me,
They installed a
Conscience.
They gave their lives,
but they succeeded.
I killed them,
But they bound me.

You'd think installing a conscience would take longer then just blowing the dang machine up.

Blowing her up doesn't seem to work. It would ruin the story.

This is where the flaw in video games is ultimately expressed in the accumulation of events such as this, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principle_of_Evil_Marksmanship

The turrets in Portal don't need to aim. They have enough firepower to kill off a city. Each.

Where'd you acquire that piece of information?

It doesn't get any deeper than this. Go Glados!

BTW, my blog has more posts, video's, & polls now. Just an FYI.

Yes, his blog is one of the huge reasons we made him an author, it has some great stuff, check it out, it is on his profile.

@Met I know, because I have been shot at and killed by those very turrets. Many times.

Met said...

Sorry, haven't played the game before.

Your greatest failing.

Met said...

My greatest? I'm not sure if you're qualified to say that, I don't think anyone here is including myself.

Then who is?

Met said...

God. You were expecting someone else?

Reogan said...

Azathoth, perhaps.
