GLaDOS's Lament Part VII

I turned away.
Unable to bear
That which I had wrought.
I turned away
From the Death
Of my own design.
I turned away
And saw life
Hidden away,
Safe in an office
Far from the reach of my Neurotoxin.
She lay there
Asleep.
I constructed a pod.
A bed, of sorts.
Before she awoke
I placed her within
And hid her away.

And here the known story begins, or at least what we think we know.

Why? Empathy? From a machine to man? This is getting a little unbelieveable even for science fiction.

She loved her captors, though she killed them. This can be seen as either a loneliness or an attempt at redemption.

666? Is it just me or is that kind of creepy...

Not true, although, I should have thought of that, it's got a little ring to it.

More than a little. I think it's time for a Blogger Name Change!

Isn't 666 the sign of the devil?

I believe it's actually the Number of the Beast. So... close.

As far as I understand Revelation...

Satan mocks the Trinity with his own.

The Beast is the AntiChrist (a mockery of Jesus; the Son of God and the Christ)
The Dragon is Satan (a mockery of God the Father)
The False Prophet is The False Prophet (a mockery of the Holy Spirit)
