Game Time

The roar

is
deafening.

Everyone
is
up in arms.

Anticipation
is
neither heavy,
nor light;

it just is.

We're waiting.

32 minutes

can make all the difference.

Does it really matter?

That's
up to you.

There's only
one thing

left to do.

Get the lights.

Thirty-two minutes? That's forever. Madonna only had four to save the world.

If I didn't know what this was about, I'd like it a lot more. It's one of those cases of specificity draining potency.

I have no idea what this is referencing specifically, but it reminds me of the wait before the lights go up on a play. The actors wait backstage, the audience chats as they wait for the show... Good stuff. I like it. :)

Elphaba, that view gives me a new love for this. Thank you.
